What: Food Forward volunteers collect unsold produce at the Mar Vista Farmers Market every Tuesday! 100% of what we collect is donated to local agencies serving those in need. Join us in connecting an abundance of fresh produce to LA's hungry.

Who: The Bay Foundation
What: Culver City rain garden enhancement. Volunteers will help local wildlife and the environment by participating in hands-on habitat restoration. The Culver City Rain Garden is a Low Impact Development (LID) project that captures and infiltrates storm water runoff from the adjacent industrial parking lots and streets, removing harmful pollutants and metals before reaching Ballona Creek. The garden is planted with native riparian vegetation to enhance water quality, provide habitat for native birds and wildlife, as well as beautify this stretch of Ballona Creek.

Who: Shoes For The Homeless
What: Shoe processing. (Shoe processing is where we sort shoes, put a rubber band around each pair, put them in groups and then place them in plastic bags).

Who: Grace Church
What: Volunteer for Grace Church’s Thanksgiving Dinner for Neighbors in Need. Volunteers will help with set-up, serving food, and clean-up. If you’d like to also attend the dinner, they’d love to have you! All are welcome.

Who: Adopt & Shop
What: We need volunteers to help care for pets at the store by cleaning kennels, socializing animals, photographing pets, and walking dogs. Volunteers also help by working with the public to place adoptable animals into new and loving homes.
When: It’s flexible! We’ll work with your schedule!
