 2017 California Alarm Association (CAA)/Electronic Security Association (ESA) Youth Scholarship Program: for graduating high school seniors with a father, mother or natural guardian who is a full-time active, paid member of the police or sheriff’s department or fire department employee.  California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation Scholarship: for UC or CSU four year programs - two 4-year $8,000 scholarships. For California community colleges - four 2-year $2,000 scholarships. Requirements - must be a high school senior whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are employees of a California Wine Grape Grower.  2017 Chen Foundation Scholarship: ten $20,000 renewable scholarships are available to high school seniors planning to attend a California State University or a California Community College. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (unweighted) & household income at or below California State/County low income level.  2017 Royal Business Bank Scholarship: twenty $1,000 scholarships are available to high school seniors planning to attend a U.S. accredited 4-year college or university or California/Nevada Community College. Requirements: must be a full-time, degree-seeking student in fall of 2017, have a minimum 3.0 GPA (unweighted), and have a financial need.  Taiwanese American Scholarship: twenty $2,500 scholarships available to high school seniors and 1st year college students planning to attend a university/college in the U.S in the fall of 2017. Requirements: must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, be a direct blood descendant of a Taiwanese citizen, have a minimum 3.0 GPA (unweighted), and have a financial need.  KidGuard Essay Scholarship: $500 to $1,000 scholarships are available to 11th and 12th grade students who submit an essay on the topic of cyberbullying addressing the issue of how they and their peers have been affected by cyberbulling and how they think schools can aid in stopping it For more detailed information, visit www.kidguard.com/nonprofit/high-school-scholarship/.  PG&E’s ‘Better Together Giving Program’ STEM Scholarship: awarding $5,000 scholarships (renewable up to 4 years) to students pursuing STEM studies in California schools. Targeted majors include Engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer, industrial, environmental), Computer Science/Informational Systems, Cyber Security, and Environmental Sciences. Eligible students will be evaluated based on demonstration of community leadership, academic achievement, financial need, and expressed interest in the energy sector.  Louie Family Foundation Scholarships: twenty-five $4,000 scholarships will be awarded to freshman students in the 2017-2018 academic year who anticipate enrolling at a U.S. accredited college/university in 2017-2018 academic year. Must have a cumulative, un-weighted GPA between 3.5 and 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. Deadline: March 31st  James Wertz Scholarship Program 2017: for a high school student that is interested in pursuing a career in aerospace STEM fields. Scholarship application requirements include an essay, scholastic achievements, list of STEM courses taken with listed letter grade, list of awards/certificates/recognitions & participation in extracurricular activities.  Splawn Scholarship: for a graduating senior with a financial need and with a minimum of 2.6 GPA. Consideration given to students that understand and exemplify the meaning of “hard work” as demonstrated by community service and extracurricular activities.  Gloria Barron Prize: twenty-five $5,000 prizes will be awarded. Students must be between the ages of 8 and 18 (not yet 19), a permanent resident of U.S & currently working on a inspiring service project or have done so within the past 12 months.  Hong Kong Schools Alumni Federation – 2017 Domestic Scholarship: a $2,000 scholarship is available for a graduating senior who will be enrolled in a full-time, 4-year college or university in United States. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, demonstrate financial need & have a minimum of 3.5 GPA. Application available at [email protected].  VIP $5,000 Scholarship: one $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student at least 13 years of age or older. For more info, visit www.studentscholarships.org/scholarship/14185/vip_voice_5_000scholarship_scholarship.php. Deadline: 11:59 pm ET on April 30th .

 ACF Visionary Scholarship Program: awards range from $1,000 to $5,000. Must be a U.S. citizen & all income levels are encouraged to apply – financial need is NOT considered.  Chopin Foundation Scholarship Program: ten $4,000 scholarships will be awarded. Open to all qualified American pianists (US citizens or regal residents), between the ages of 14 to 17 years.  Foster Child Scholarship: a $1000 scholarship is available to a senior who is currently, was previously placed in foster care & or are a ward of a group or private home of a state certified caregiver/poster parent.  First Generation Scholarship: a $1000 scholarship is available to a senior whose parents have never graduated from a 4-year college/university or a 2-year community college upon graduation from high school.  Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship: a $1,000 scholarship is available to a high school senior that is interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post-secondary school or college.  Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship: a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to high school students that is interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post-secondary school or college.  Aspiring Business Professional Scholarship: a $1000 scholarship that will be awarded to a student that is interested in pursuing a business degree at any accredited post-secondary school or college. Deadline is June 1 st .  Aspiring Fashion Professional Scholarship: a $1,000 scholarship is available for a student that is interested in pursuing a fashion degree at an accredited post-secondary school or college.  Aspiring Business Professional Scholarship: a $1,000 scholarship is available for a student that is interested in pursuing a business degree at any accredited post-secondary school or college.  Review It Scholarship: one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior attending college or university no later than September 2017.
